Dr Anthony Albers

Tony has over 20 year’s broad experience in business project management, business strategy development and business consulting to private and public-sector clients in a range of economic sectors in South Africa.

Tony Albers holds a PhD degree in Physics from the University of the Witwatersrand, and applies his physics-based research and problem-solving skills to business and development challenges.

Karla Vermaak

Karla has over ten year’s experience in the management and implementation of business projects in tourism, organisational and market research, and business conceptualisation and development, as well as the full scope of project development and implementation – conceptualisation, budgeting, planning, management, financial control, reporting and close-out.

Karla holds a BCom degree from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, specialising in Business Management and Industrial & Organisational Psychology, which she applies to the management and implementation of business projects and programs for clients.

Chris Albers

Chris holds a BSc degree in computer science and information systems from Rhodes University, and is currently completing a BSc (Honours) degree in computer science.

Dr Paul Martin

Paul is an independent environmental consultant with a varied career in the interface between people and the environment, including in nature conservation and environmental services (waste management, environmental health) within local government. Through his career, Paul has been involved in many of the environmental issues and initiatives in the Port Elizabeth area over the past 25 years.

Paul holds a BSc Honours degree in Zoology from the University of Durham, UK, and a PhD degree in zoology from the University of Port Elizabeth (now the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University) for a study of the feeding ecology of birds on the Swartkops Estuary, Port Elizabeth.

Paul is a Specialist Associate on the team.

Peter Myles

Peter has over twenty-seven year’s experience in the tourism industry, and is continuously engaged in a number of tourism development projects, in South Africa and internationally, for both public-sector and private-sector clients. These projects also include international specialist review and tourism development assignments on behalf of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO).

Peter holds a Master’s degree in Tourism Development and Management from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College, and is a well-known tourism expert in the Eastern Cape and South Africa.

Peter is a Specialist Associate on the team.
